We are thrilled to announce Asha Patel has joined SmartCo as a Client Support Consultant. Wishing you a warm welcome from the entire SmartCo team.
We sat down with Asha to ask her a few questions about her career path, her new role at SmartCo and what she’s most looking forward to about joining.
Hi Asha. What has been your career leading up to SmartCo?
I most recently worked as a Project Support Administrator in an IT Consultancy, where I provided analytical support for project activities, monitored performance, and documented and tracked key milestones to aid the successful delivery of projects. Additionally, I bring a strong background in education and entrepreneurial expertise, having successfully established and managed two businesses over the last 18 years.
What is your new role and key responsibilities?
My new role at SmartCo is Client Support Consultant where I’m responsible for tracking key project metrics and helping to ensure client satisfaction. I will be monitoring project progress with the aim to analyse and resolve client issues efficiently. I’m looking forward to helping the team as the company grows and the work ramps up.
What are you looking forward to most about being part of the team?
I’m really excited to join a team where collaboration and innovation are considered pivotal. I’m looking forward to working alongside the team sharing ideas and learning from one another. I’ve been genuinely amazed by how friendly everyone is, and the warm welcome has made me feel comfortable and at ease from day one.
What’s unique about SmartCo?
The atmosphere here is incredibly positive, and SmartCo genuinely care about everyone’s wellbeing. In the short time that I have been here it is obvious that this is a place where contributions are valued, and your personal growth is strongly encouraged. Everyone I spoke with before joining SmartCo had glowing feedback about the company’s culture, making it an incredible place to work.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I like to hit the gym and lift weights to de-stress. It’s like my personal therapy session, but with more sweat and less talking! It’s a great way for me to blow off steam and know I’m getting stronger. I still love being part of the social scene and having a good time with close friends and family – catching up over some tasty cocktails! I’ve also got a bit of an artsy side. I enjoy painting and even sold a few pieces recently. Turns out, people actually like my creative chaos!
