The Availability Cache module, developed and maintained by the existing team, had introduced code changes that caused significant operational disruptions and service degradation, impacting the strategic module’s performance. Additionally, the original non-functional requirements required validation to ensure development teams aligned with the target code architecture.

SmartCo’s Approach

Within 48 hours, SmartCo mobilised the team, accessed necessary systems and operational processes, and deployed non-intrusive static analysis tools based on our findings. Additionally, SmartCo performed a deep dive into recent operational code outages and conducted a detailed review of the supporting AWS architecture.
